Spend a day in the shop building your own hatchet or tomahawk. You'll learn professional grinding, handle shaping, and finishing techniques as you transform a hardened steel blank into a tool you can be proud of.

Class Overview

Create Your Ax: Choose between a pre-hardened hatchet or tomahawk blank.

Hands-On Learning: In one day (Saturday 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM), you’ll work side by side with me to craft your very own small ax.

Small Class, Big Experience: With a maximum of 6 students, you’ll get personal instruction and plenty of time at the grinder.

Age limit: 18+ to participate solo, 16+ with supervision

Experience: No prior experience required, beginners welcome!
By the end of the weekend, you’ll leave with your finished ax—and the skills and confidence to continue your bladesmithing journey.
