Turkish Twist Damascus Santoku
This knife features a blade forged from six bars of opposing twists of 1084 and 15N20, measuring just over 6". The handle is crafted with a 304 stainless steel integral bolster frame, contoured copper liners, and antique paper micarta scales, fitted with heirloom precision. A stainless pin with a brass floral accent washer completes the design.
Overall Length: Just under 11.5"
Included: Shipping, a zipper case, a velvet-lined display case, and a custom leather sleeve from Treeman Leather Shop.
A singular knife that blends early milestones with refined craftsmanship — built to be collected, admired, and most importantly, used.
Care Instructions
This knife is made from high-carbon steel and is not stainless, so it will naturally develop a patina with regular use. This patina helps protect the blade and is the best defense against rust.
If rust does appear, gently remove it using high-grit sandpaper (1000+ grit) and a bit of mineral oil.
Always hand wash only — never put the knife in the dishwasher — and dry it immediately after cleaning. Store the knife in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, lightly coat the blade and handle with oil (mineral oil, WD-40, or similar).
Once or twice a year, condition the handle with a food-safe wood wax or paste to prevent it from drying out. Butcher block cream works well, and I personally recommend Wicked Wax.
Lifetime Warranty
Every knife I craft is built to last a lifetime. I stand behind the quality of my materials and craftsmanship, and I offer a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers issues such as broken handles, faulty construction, or blade defects under normal use.
Please note: this warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear. If you ever have an issue with your knife, simply reach out, and I’ll work with you to repair or replace it.
