Ironwood Chef Knife

$450.00Price

Crafted from 1084 high-carbon steel, this knife features light forge texturing around the ricasso that adds subtle hand-forged character. It’s finished with brass bolsters and an Arizona desert ironwood handle, accented by a brass and white G10 spacer for a striking, modern contrast.

  • Care Instructions

This knife is made from high-carbon steel and is not stainless, so it will naturally develop a patina with regular use. This patina helps protect the blade and is the best defense against rust.

If rust does appear, gently remove it using high-grit sandpaper (1000+ grit) and a bit of mineral oil.

Always hand wash only — never put the knife in the dishwasher — and dry it immediately after cleaning. Store the knife in a cool, dry place. For long-term storage, lightly coat the blade and handle with oil (mineral oil, WD-40, or similar).

Once or twice a year, condition the handle with a food-safe wood wax or paste to prevent it from drying out. Butcher block cream works well, and I personally recommend Wicked Wax.

  • Lifetime Warranty

Every knife I craft is built to last a lifetime. I stand behind the quality of my materials and craftsmanship, and I offer a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty covers issues such as broken handles, faulty construction, or blade defects under normal use.

Please note: this warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear. If you ever have an issue with your knife, simply reach out, and I’ll work with you to repair or replace it.
